I’ve never surfed before — can I book a lesson?
Yes. We start every beginner lesson with a 20-minute safety + paddle briefing on the sand, then move into knee-deep water with soft-top boards. By the end of a 2-hour session, the vast majority of beginners stand up and ride white-water waves.
What’s the difference between a surf lesson and a surf camp?
A surf lesson is 2–3 hours including board, wetsuit, and instructor. A surf camp is a multi-day package (3–14 nights) with accommodation, two surf sessions per day, breakfast and dinner, video coaching, and yoga add-ons available.
What’s included in a surf lesson?
Surfboard rental (soft-top for beginners, hard-top from intermediate), wetsuit, certified ISA-trained Moroccan instructor, all transport between Taghazout and the day’s best spot, and beach insurance.
When are the best surf conditions in Morocco?
October to April is the peak swell season — Anchor Point and Boilers can produce 6–10ft+ on the right swells. Beginner waves run all year at Crocs Beach and Tamri. Water temperature ranges 17–22°C; a 3/2 wetsuit is plenty year-round.
How many people are in a group lesson?
Group lessons run 1 instructor per 4 students maximum — well below the legal limit. Private 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 lessons are also available if you want personalised coaching.
Where do you go surfing?
We pick the spot each morning based on swell, wind, and your level. Beginners surf Crocs Beach, Hash Point, or Tamri. Intermediates go to Panoramas or Banana Point. Advanced go to Anchor Point, Killer Point, Boilers, or Imsouane Bay (the longest right-hander in Africa).
