Camel Rides near Agadir
Our camel rides happen at sunset on the coast north of Agadir. After a drive past the surf villages of Tamraght and Taghazout, you meet your camel in the banana plantations near Tamri, put on traditional nomad clothing and ride through the fields to Tamri Beach as the sun drops into the Atlantic. The evening ends with a barbecue dinner of grilled meat, salads and Moroccan dishes, with vegetarian options. If you want more out of the afternoon, the combo adds a sandboarding session on the dunes before the ride.

Where does the camel ride take place?
In the banana plantations near Tamri, north of Agadir. Your driver follows the coast past Tamraght, Taghazout and Aghroud to the plantations, and the ride itself goes through the fields to Tamri Beach, where you watch the sunset over the Atlantic.
What is included?
Hotel pickup and drop-off, the camel ride, traditional nomad clothing to wear, and dinner: a barbecue of grilled meat served with salads and other Moroccan dishes, with vegetarian options. Soft drinks are not included. The sandboarding combo also includes the boards and equipment, a guide, mint tea and water; additional drinks are not included.
How long does it last?
The sunset ride with dinner lasts around three and a half hours, including the drive, the ride, sunset on Tamri Beach and the meal. The combo with sandboarding lasts about five hours.
Can children join?
Yes. The sunset ride takes children from the age of two and most travellers can take part. Groups are limited to 15 people on the sunset ride and to 12 on the sandboarding combo.
Where can I be picked up, and what if the weather turns?
Pickup is from your hotel in Agadir, Taghazout, Tamraght, Paradis Plage or Aourir, or from the Agadir cruise port; you choose the point at checkout. The sunset ride needs good weather: if it is cancelled because of the weather, you are offered another date or a full refund. Both experiences can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start.
