Paradise Valley Tours from Agadir
Paradise Valley is a palm-lined canyon in the Atlas foothills behind Agadir, with natural rock pools you can swim in. The drive there passes through Banana Village and a string of Berber villages before the road climbs into the green mountains. The half-day trip gives you about an hour at the pools inside a five-hour round trip. The two full-day options spend around four hours in the valley, including a women’s cooperative garden and a viewpoint over the Atlas, then continue to the coast at Tamri for a wild beach, the dunes and lunch.

Half-day or full-day: which Paradise Valley trip should I book?
The half-day trip is about five hours door to door with roughly an hour in the valley, and it picks up in both Agadir and Taghazout. The full days spend around four hours in the valley and then head to the coast at Tamri: one adds the wild beach and dunes with a tajine lunch at a local home (about nine hours), the other adds sandboarding on the dunes with lunch and mint tea (about ten and a half hours).
Can I swim in Paradise Valley?
Yes. The natural pools are a good place for a swim, so bring swimwear and a towel. On the half-day trip you also have time to walk among the palm groves and take in the canyon.
Is lunch included?
Not on the half-day trip, where bottled water and soft drinks are not included either, so bring your own water. On the Tamri dunes full day, lunch is a tajine with seasonal fruit at a local home, with drinks extra. On the sandboarding full day, lunch with mint tea is included and other drinks are not.
Where can I be picked up?
The half-day trip picks up at all Agadir hotels, in Aourir, Taghazout, Tamraght, Paradise Beach and Lunja Village, and at the Agadir port. The full days pick up at hotels in Agadir, Taghazout, Tamraght, Paradis Plage and Aourir and at the cruise port. You choose the point at checkout.
Is the trip suitable for children, and how fit do I need to be?
Children are welcome from the age of one and infant seats are available. A moderate level of fitness is needed for the walk to the pools. The trips are not wheelchair accessible and are not recommended for people with back or heart problems or for pregnant travellers.
