Real Morocco Uncovered

Twelve days across the length and breadth of Morocco, threading together everything the country is famous for. From Casablanca you travel to the capital Rabat and up into the Rif to the blue town of Chefchaouen, then on to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the great imperial city of Fes, where you lose a whole day in the maze of the medina and its tanneries. Crossing the Middle Atlas and the Ziz Valley you reach the Sahara at Merzouga — camels, nomad camps and a night under the dunes of Erg Chebbi. The return runs west through the Todra and Dades gorges, past the mighty kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, over the High Atlas to Marrakech for two nights in the red city, before closing the loop back to Casablanca. Comfortable hotels, a desert camp, private transport and an English-speaking guide are all included.
