Swim in the natural pools and walk the palm groves of Paradise Valley, with hotel pickup in Agadir or Taghazout and a scenic drive through Banana Village.
From 212 MAD per person
Paradise Valley is a palm-lined canyon in the Atlas foothills behind Agadir, with natural rock pools you can swim in. The drive there passes through Banana Village and a string of Berber villages before the road climbs into the green mountains. The half-day trip gives you about an hour at the pools inside a five-hour round trip. The two full-day options spend around four hours in the valley, including a women’s cooperative garden and a viewpoint over the Atlas, then continue to the coast at Tamri for a wild beach, the dunes and lunch.

A full day from Agadir: swim among the palms in Paradise Valley, then walk the wild beach and dunes of Tamri, with a tajine lunch at a local home.
From 807 MAD per person
The half-day trip is the one to book if you want the pools and little else. After pickup in Agadir or Taghazout, you drive inland through Banana Village and several Berber villages, spend about an hour swimming and walking in the valley, and are back at your hotel around five hours after you left. Entry to the valley is included, groups are capped at 20, and the vehicle has WiFi on board.
The Paradise Valley and Tamri dunes day is for a slower look at both places. Around four hours go to the valley, with a boutique and a women’s cooperative garden, a viewpoint over the Atlas and the pools, then the road turns to the coast at Tamri for the wild beach, a tajine lunch with seasonal fruit at a local home and the dunes. Admission to Tamri is included and the day runs about nine hours.
The Paradise Valley and sandboarding day follows the same shape, with the women’s cooperative, the viewpoint and the pools in the morning, then lunch with mint tea on the coast and a sandboarding session on the dunes near Tamri. It is the longest of the three at around ten and a half hours, with groups limited to 15.
The road in is part of the trip: Banana Village, then Berber villages, then the green heart of the mountains. In the valley the path leads through palm groves to the rock pools in the canyon, where the time is yours to swim, rest by the water and take photos. On the full-day trips you also stop at a women’s cooperative and its garden and at a panoramic viewpoint over the Atlas.
After the valley, both full days head north along the coast to Tamri, where the landscape opens onto a wild beach and sand dunes that run down to the Atlantic. On the dunes day you walk the beach, eat a tajine at a local home and spend the afternoon on the dunes; on the sandboarding day the guides hand out boards and help you pick a slope, so you end the day riding the sand.
Guides speak English and French. Bring swimwear, a towel, water, sun protection and shoes that can handle a rocky path. The trips depend on good weather: if one is cancelled for bad weather, you are offered another date or a full refund. The half-day also needs a minimum number of travellers, with the same choice if it is not reached. Every trip can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start, and the price per person is shown on each listing.
